20 Jul 2008 – July is the fruit harvest time and Danny suggested we go ‘Pick-Your-Own’ fruit in farm. Due to road diversion and got lost, we finally found a farm in Wigtoft after 1 1/2 hour drive (which normally takes 29 min). The farm was surrounded by soft fruit plants, like strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants etc. We had a great day in the fresh air and spend time picking our own fruit. And it is very CHEAP, only GBP1 per lbs. A basket of raspberries only cost us GBP4and a box of Blackberries for GBP0.80 (which I normally pay at least GBP2 for that). Thumbs up!

I didn’t realize there was a pick-your-own place in Wigtoft. Guess I’ll have to visit it soon as my kids love to eat lots of fruit!
