TGIF – Thank God is Friday

18 Jul 2008 – It was a busy, busy day. Thanks to England weather,YH & YX’s school successfully run it’s Sports Day as planned. Children got the opportunity to participate in 10 events before the traditional race in the afternoon. I volunteered to help out in monitoring one of the event. A lot of parents turned out to support their children as early as 11am. During lunch time, we had a chance to have picnic lunch with our children in the school field. It was very nice. YX came in 3rd place in one of the race.
After Sports Day, we rush back to have dinner/tea and get changed and prepared for the ‘Beach Party Disco’ in school at 5pm. Disco party is very popular in school as the children will dance under disco light, play games, enjoy the ‘non restrict’ refreshment, and have fun. Surprisingly, Yi Hong won the ‘Best Boy Dancer’, I seldom saw him dance.
We were worned-out at the end of the day. TGIF, I could have a good rest and enjoy the beautiful weekend.
