Dance Fever

10 Feb 2008 – Yi Xuen has started her ballet lessons  since September last year.  30 mins lesson, every Saturday and she seems enjoying it very much.  She was given opportunity to participate in the annual performance – Dance Fever, at the Broadway Theatre in Peterborough. She like performing on the stage and she told us that she wish to be a ballet teacher when she grown up.

Gong Xi Fa Cai

This was our first Chinese New Year away from our family.  Really miss them. My sisters had sent us some CNY decorations and a CD (CNY songs).  We can feel the CNY atmosphere with the Spring Couplets, New Year slogan and CNY songs. But, it make us felt homesick too. 

Having said that, we are lucky to have family and friends here, celebrating the CNY with us.  We had invited our friends/neighbour to our CNY open house.  It’s quite fun to share our tradition and our culture with them.  During the weekend, we had Uncle Robert, Auntie Andrea, Amy, Mark, Desmond, Patricia, Joshua and Emily came over for re-union dinner. Danny was the Chef and he cooked delicious ‘FooChow’ New Year dishes.  We had a great time.
